THE MOTION PICTURES INDUSTRY better known as Nollywood is twenty this year. It all started in 1992, with the film, “Living in Bondage” by Ken Nebue of Nek Videos. Practitioners started with the Video Home System format at a time when the first choice of films for Nigerians were the foreign ones.
But today the story is different. Majority of Nigerians now have preference for home made films, even as they continue to make inroads into the international community.
