FELA’S RESIDENCE EVOLVES INTO INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM


RESIDENCE OF THE LATE AFROBEAT King, Fela Anikulapo Kuti at 18 Gebemisola Street Ikeja has evolved into an international museum now open to members of the public.

Yeni Kuti who officially inaugurated the museum in Lagos as part of activities marking Felabration 2012, said that the remaining part of the monument would be inaugurated soon. She said members of the public will be able to see the last bed sheet Fela used before he died in August 2, 1997 and his favourite musical instrument.
