It was a day of fury and of uncontrollable tears for widow and direct family members of the late Nollywood actor, Enebeli Elebuwa, who was buried this afternoon, at Victoria Court Cemetery, adjacent Awoyaya on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
The family wept uncontrollably, as they cuddled themselves at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Lafiagi, Obalende, Lagos, Nigeria, where a requiem mass was held in honour of the deceased.
The white casket arrived the church by 11:45AM aboard a Mercedes Benz jeep, positioned on rollers by well dressed TOS undertakers and wheeled through a red carpet into the church for the service.
In his sermon, officiating minister, Monsignor. Gabriel Osu described Elebuwa as a good man and that what matters was not the number of years an individual lived but the quality of life he lived and called on all to devote their time to the service of God.
While praying for God to grant the family strength to bear the loss, he called on artistes generally to examine how the live their lives. For him, the time has come for them to live in moderation and take the issue of medical check-up seriously.
