VETERAN MUSICIAN CHRIS MBA and Chairman Musical Copyright Society of Nigeria(MCSN), Orits Wiliki have waded into the leadership crisis rocking the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria(PMAN) in order to prevent it from affecting the fortune of musicians in the country.
Wiliki who spoke in Lagos said his committee has met with the warring factions adding that at least 300 questionnaires were administered with a view to resolving the leadership tussle rocking the association.
“We are not getting the necessary benefits as members of a trade union. We have found many things wrong in the industry, especially PMAN. We will share the blame for how PMAN got to where it is today. If all of us had played our roles by not neglecting PMAN, the association wouldn’t have been in disarray today,” Wiliki lamented.
