HASSAN IBRAHIM, better known as Zulezu, proponent of Kerewa music is back with a bang. The singer who flew into Lagos not long ago told Starconnectmedia that he is hitting town soon with the track Back Again, adding that his latest video titled G-Daddy will soon hit the airwaves.
He assured fans that he will never disappoint them, and called on them to keep loving him. “The message for my fans is for them to keep loving me, I will not disappoint them”, he said, stressing that nothing good comes easy. “I want to make them know that nothing good comes easy, whatever they are doing, they should make sure they don’t stop, there is no way you will keep digging a well and you will not get water so long as you keep digging. So keep doing it and don’t stop, and Zulezu will not disappoint you, keep it real and stay away from drugs”, he advised.
The Kerewa proponent who was also at headquarter of Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) in Opebi, Lagos said the Chief Tony Okoroji led COSON has done well for musicians by making sure that music pays. “I was asked to drop my account number and that some money will be paid to me which means COSON is really working”, Zulezu, whose video of Kerewa was banned from enjoying airplay on television by the National Film and Video Censors Board(NFVCB) said.
